Industrial BIM Coordination | Scan to BIM
01
BIM Coordination | MEP Modeling
Development of coordinated MEP BIM models for building services systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical).
Existing conditions were modeled from point cloud scans, while new MEP systems were developed based on 2D documentation provided by the engineering team.
Process machinery models provided by suppliers were integrated into the BIM environment to support spatial coordination and clash detection.
Tools: Revit | Navisworks | Recap
02
BIM Coordination | Clash Detection | Revit
Integration and coordination of discipline models provided by external teams.
MEP contractor models and architectural BIM models (IFC) were consolidated into a federated model to perform clash detection and spatial coordination, identifying conflicts and potential construction issues.
Tools: Revit | Navisworks | Autocad
03
Scan to BIM | Industrial Facility Model
Creation of BIM models of existing industrial facilities using point cloud data, including architecture, building services and process equipment (tanks and machinery).
Site inspections were conducted for verification and documentation of existing conditions.
Development of new MEP models for proposed installations, including coordination and clash detection within the BIM environment.
