CDT
Business Incubator | Academic work
P.Patricios CABA | Argentina
The southern area of Buenos Aires is currently undergoing a process of urban revitalization. Within this context, the CDT (Center of Design and Technology) building has been conceived with the aim of accommodating new enterprises within the design field. This establishment functions as an incubator for these companies, offering a comprehensive array of resources including training, workshops, and exhibition spaces.
A distinct architectural typology has been developed to suit this particular usage. The building comprises two private-use zones, with a third strip serving as connecting element where the public program is situated. This public program includes an auditorium, an exhibition hall, a bar and a dining area.
This morphology is intentionally designed to align with existing fabric of the neighbourhood, fostering a sense of continuity. Its objective is to enhance the socio-economic conditions of the city.
